The staple and cornerstone of The American Legion is it's involvement within the community. No matter the size The American Legion strives to impact the community in a positive manner. The American Legion programs are the tools used to make such an impact. Within the Department of Alabama our Legionnaires continue to better the communities for which they serve. Boys State, American Legion Baseball, and American Legion Oratorical Competitions have been the focus over the past years.
